I love your living room! The couch was a great addition. I convinced Jason to get us leather couches when we first got married because of the easy care. Now with the kids he is thanking me.

Wow! The before and after is pretty amazing. What a difference a nice, appropriately sized rug can make. I noticed you have pets and mentioned the other rug was stained… brings up the question… how do you clean sisal? Is it pretty stain resistant (pets and kids)? I use a spot cleaner between professional cleanings (my current fave is Christopher’s Own cleaner) but I don’t think I can use that on a sisal rug, right? Just curious.

Would love to see a photo of your medicine cabinet with door closed; is that possible? We have lived here since 2005 and have been trying to replace the original medicine cabinet that was installed by builder in 1977. We have looked everywhere for this size and they don’t make them this same size. I’d like to some type of medicine cabinet installed over the toilet area which means we’d have to cover the hole with sheetrock/drywall once we take the old medicine cabinet out, and could put a pretty picture on that wall. I like the looks of your cabinet, what I can see inside..the 4 shelves and molding outside. Was it a stock item or custom built?
