I am linking up with Kelly’s Korner- Show Us Your Life , Just a Girl, and Thrifty Decor Chic today to show my kitchen. I’m thankful for my little kitchen. It’s a perfect size for us- just two people. We enjoy cooking at home most weeknights. This kitchen has a good work triangle and ample storage. I love the pantry! Before we moved into our house 2 years ago, we lived in an apartment with a tiny kitchen! So when we moved into this house, I fell in LOVE with my pantry!

I made the faux roman shade over the sink. As you can see, it is not perfect! The fabric is Brick Pomeroy from Ballard.

The doorway leads to our Dining Room (before it was painted). The door leads to the pantry.

We have a counter-height table and chair set in the kitchen.

My favorite dish soap- Mrs. Meyers (Geranium scent).

In the closet are my washer and dryer. It can be a little tight having the laundry in with the kitchen/breakfast nook,  but for now, it works for us! When laundry is finished (is it ever really finished?) or when we eat dinner, the doors close.

And finally… meet the little creature who can always be found right behind me in the kitchen:  Dylan. Isn’t he adorable? I sure think so!

That is my kitchen! It definitely gets a lot of use! We plan on adding granite or marble counters, white subway tile backsplash, under cabinet lighting, and stainless steel appliances (besides the fridge that we purchased when we moved into the house)  in the near future.
